First Fruit has two hostels for single homeless men, and a house for women and their families, in Newham. Access to the men's hostels is through Referral Agencies only. We are not currently taking referrals for the women's house, but plan to do so in the near future.
Descriptions of the hostels, and a referral form - which should be used for either of the men's hostels - can be downloaded using the links at the foot of this page.

Women's House
Our first women's house was officially opened on the 1st of August 2007. The house is situated in East Ham, and First Fruit is partnered in this venture by the Newham United Reform Church Group, owners of the property.
The house is for women who have young children and who need a safe and affordable place to live. Like our other two hostels it is intended as short-term accommodation. Our aim is to provide these families with the support and structures that will enable them to grow in their stability, and prepare them for independent living.
For more information on our women's house please telephone 020 8519 1454
